Each student-athlete will need the following things before they can tryout for a PC Spring Sport.

Please contact PC Athletics Secretary, Julie Morrissey, at, or by phone at 323-5361 if you have any questions on the status of a student-athletes physical. You can find the MHSAA Official Physical form under Forms and Links.

Upon selection to a team:

Players and Parents – Important news here:

  1. If you know of any girls who are going out for tennis but have not been receiving these messages, please tell them to sign up in the Athletic Office.
  2. This message will be repeated on the team Facebook page.
  3. Practice begins next week! Based on the weather forecast, we have indoor court time reserved for both JV and Varsity at the Markin Center, Kalamazoo College. If you don’t know where it is located here is a link to the map:,+Catherine+St,+Kalamazoo,+MI+49006/@42.290906,-85.5991547,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x88179d5de0d4797b:0x5ae56ff8ffa7cfe2!8m2!3d42.2909184!4d-85.5971679?hl=en&authuser=0
  4. Please bring $3/day (or $12-15 for the entire week, checks made out to PPS) to pay for the indoor court time – sorry, but the school will not cover that cost. We will definitely be indoors Monday thru Thursday nights. Friday we may be outdoors, depending on the weather. We will decide by Wednesday of that first week.
  5. The first night of practice I’d like all players to report to Kalamazoo College by 5:30pm, as we will hold a brief meeting prior to practice.
  6. We have 10 days of practice to determine a Varsity lineup, so I would like players to respond whether they are going out for varsity or not. If you received a Varsity letter last year I trust you are going out for Varsity this year. If you didn’t receive a Varsity letter and don’t reply, I’ll assume you are going out for JV. You can reply to this email address, or send me a text message at 269-382-9290. I prefer an email, but if you send a text I need to know your name please!!
  7. If you are going out for Varsity please indicate a preference for Singles, Doubles, or no preference. I need the preference info from all girls going out for Varsity.
  8. Following is a schedule for the time leading up to spring break.
  9. Please note there is a mandatory meeting for all players and parents (at least one parent) at 5:45pm on Tuesday March 20 in the PCHS Community Room. That meeting will finish absolutely no later than 6:45pm, as that room is then used for the Code of Conduct meeting. The Code of Conduct meeting is only for players who have not attended that meeting in the past. If you attended earlier this year or in a previous year, you do not have to attend the Code of Conduct meeting. If you aren’t sure, check with the Athletic Office.
  10. Details about the Players and Parents meeting will be sent at a later date.
